The King of Cakes
Edible Creations by Dylan Hale
Located in Bentonville, Arkansas

Ever since I was 4 years old, I've helped my Grandmother, Ann Anderson, make cakes. My "Nanny" as we all call her, used to decorate cakes and sell them when my mom was growing up. Since she already had the equipment to decorate, she would show me how and still does. Although I haven't had any formal training, I think she's given me the best training. I turned 15 in April and decided I wanted to do a little "cake hobby" to help raise money for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). I was diagnosed as a Type I diabetic in January 2008. My mom told me it was ok if I wanted to sell cakes to our friends and family, and things have just grown from there. I really enjoy it when people see their cake for the first time. So far, everyone has always been happy.

So, if you need to make an impression with a custom-made cake let the King of Cakes create a memory to last!
